Why do I have to pay to work?

Williams & Associates partners with Arise Virtual Solutions to provide you with a successful work-from-home business opportunity, not a job. Therefore, you will be providing service for Arise clients as an Independent Contractor, subcontracting through us. Neither Williams & Associates nor Arise Virtual Solutions claim to be an employer.

If you have ever accepted work through a staffing agency, your relationship with us is very similar. The client pays us a certain amount and, in return, we retain a portion of it. We are your first point-of-contact and your support system.

As an Independent Contractor, business investments are expected, although costs are minimal compared to other business ventures. You will be required to invest in training and certification classes to service clients of Arise.

Being an Independent Contractor provides you the ability and privilege of classifying any money paid towards working from home as business expenses. This could potentially save you money during tax season!

Arise Virtual Solutions has been an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau since 2005 and currently has an A+ rating. You can be assured that work is being provided by a reputable company.

How much can I make?

Your pay is determined by the client you choose to service, but could range from $8 – $15 per hour, sometimes more. Your service revenue will be paid by one of the following methods:

  • Per Minute: Based on how many active minutes you are on a call each pay period
  • Per Call: Based on how many calls you take each pay period

  • Per Interval: Based on how many intervals (30 minutes = 1 interval) you service each pay period

Efficiency is the key when you are paid per minute or per call. However, you have the opportunity to make some really good money! In addition, there are some clients who offer performance-based bonuses and certification bonuses to help you earn even more money, which keeps you motivated!

Some Client Support Professionals (CSP) decide to service more than one client to further maximize their earnings. This is a personal decision and possible as long as the CSP is able to meet the goals and expectations of each client. Please note that you cannot be enrolled in two certification courses at the same time; you must complete one before you can pick up another. 

We are here to help you make an informed decision on which client will provide you exactly what you are seeking. In addition, we provide you with the pay rate before you select a client opportunity, and an actual copy of your Statement of Work, which breaks down your pay after you certify with a client.

What is client certification and how long does it take?

Client certification is conducted by an Arise instructor through Adobe Connect from the comfort of your home. You are expected to have a voice over internet protocol (VoIP) headset in order to listen and speak to your instructor and classmates. You are also expected to type in a chat format.

Based on the client you choose, training can last from 2 – 8 weeks, up to four hours a day, Monday – Friday, with no weekend requirement. Certain clients offer morning, midday, and evening classes to accommodate as many people as possible.

As an Independent Contractor, it is important to note that client certification is unpaid. Please make preparations.

Certification classes provide you with the skills necessary to service customers from a virtual setting. The courses are very interactive and the instructors encourage participation. It is important to note that class absences are not permitted and you are expected to fulfill all the requirements to complete the class, including mock calls and final assessments.

You must be client-qualified in order to service your client. Therefore, certification is not to be taken lightly. We will be there to help you practice and provide any useful information to ensure you are successful during and after certification.

Should I incorporate or join your independent business?

You have the choice to become an Independent Business Owner (IBO) or affiliate with an already established IBO in the Arise Network such as Williams & Associates.  If you choose to move forward with us, you will not incur costs associated with incorporating or obtaining the proper license to operate your home-based business.

Incorporation fees can range from $100 – $500, depending on your state of residence, and a business license can cost close to $100. These fees assessed by the Secretary of State and the Licensing and Revenue Office are incurred on an annual basis.

There are some who do not want to run their own business and would rather shy away from the responsibility that comes with it. Instead, they want the guidance and support that an established IBO can provide.

Oftentimes, CSPs start off as a subcontractor for an Independent Business and incorporate later, once they have gained some experience. Rest assured that we will help you if and when you decide that this is the direction you want to take.

How long will it take before I start earning a paycheck?

The admission process takes between 1– 7 days. Once you complete the admission process and join the Williams & Associates team, you will be prompted to choose a client to service and complete the required certification course.

Most of the classes start within 30 days of completion of the admission process. This allows new CSPs to get their computer compatible with the servicing client, as well as the proper headsets to assist the client.

Classes normally run for 30 days and attendance is a must. Once you are certified, you can start working immediately and earning the income you deserve.

Remember, you are self-employed. Therefore, you are in control of when and how much you work. Of course, the more you work, the more you can make.

I reside in another state. Will I be able to join your Independent Business?

Although we are located in Georgia, we accept Client Support Professionals from all over the United States. The only states we are currently not recruiting in are the following:

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts

  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Wisconsin
